Treating Acne With Retinol

Rentinol is rich in vitamin A which helps keep acne at bay. It has long been used by dermatologists with great success.

Retinol is a form of pure vitamin A which is found in nature such as fish oils. Retinol A is described by pharmacists as a fat soluble antioxidant it helps moisturize and detoxify the skin aiding the skins natural renewal process. Our skin needs vitamin A to function effectively it helps skin cells regenerate by way of retinoic acid which allows the skin cells to grow properly. Effective skin rejuvenation and cell growth prevents acne forming as the dead skin cells are shed which leaves the pores clog free so sebum wont get clogged inside causing blackheads and pimples.

Retinol is an antioxidant which means it gets rid of toxins in the skin that can cause damage to the skins renewal processes. The toxins that cause most damage are known as free radicals. To eliminate free radicals means the skin will look smoother and even start to glow. So by using retinol acne treatment regularly the skin will speed up its renewal process leaving new and healthily top layer of skin. Retinol has also been used in anti aging creams because the same process not only helps with acne but also produces newer baby looking skin that glows with health.

The body doesn’t produce enough vitamin A to have the same effect so sources need to be obtained from foods such as cod liver oil, fish oil and orange colored fruits. Oranges and Tomatoes for example contain beta carotene which the body then converts into vitamin A. So in combination with application of Renitol cream it is also a good idea to work from the inside out consuming lots of natural fish oils and orange colored fruits and vegetables.

People using retinol for long periods of time can experience sensitivity in the skin that wasn’t there before due to the constant renewal of new skin. Old skin cells on the face may not look as good but they do form a natural barrier against the sun and wind with this barrier gone you need to take extra care using high sunscreens and cover the face from the elements as best possible.
